Reflective Reading
Reflective Reading is a practical and engaging programme for teaching reading comprehension and creating a reading culture in the primary school.

Phonics Forever
Phonics Forever explores the most effective way to teach children to read and spell, based on current educational research and leading-edge classroom practice—this is the course you wish you’d had when you did your teacher training.

- Episode 1: Scotland-We Have a Problem, Reading Difficulties & Dyslexia, A History of English & The Alphabetic Code, Changing Perceptions of Phonics, The Simple View of Reading

The Story Kitchen
The Story Kitchen is a research-informed writing programme for primary schools. Designed to improve writing motivation, skill and attainment, the programme contains a strong direct teaching and deliberate practice element, with a focus on how to write, craft and expand sentences and texts. The course explores a research model of writing and how this can be aligned to Curriculum for Excellence, as well as a consideration of Cognitive Load Theory and its implications for writing in the classroom.
